Rehomed & Reloved
Last updated: April 2026
These Terms & Conditions set out how Rehomed & Reloved (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides its wardrobe clearance and buyout service. By submitting your details or accepting an offer or proceeding with a collection, you agree to these terms.
1. Our Service
Rehomed & Reloved purchases clothing, shoes and accessories directly from private individuals.
We provide:
-
An initial indicative valuation based on information and photos submitted
-
A final offer following in-person inspection
-
A full buyout, with immediate payment and removal of items
This is a direct sale to us. We do not operate on a consignment or resale on your behalf basis unless previously agreed and subject to specific and separate terms.
2. Valuations & Offers
Initial valuations are indicative only and based on the information provided by you.
A final offer is made after in-person inspection of the items.
We reserve the right to revise any indicative offer following inspection.
All final offers are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
Once you have accepted a final offer, you are bound to complete the sale.
We are under no obligation to proceed with a purchase.
3. Acceptance & Transfer of Ownership
You warrant that you are legally permitted to sell the goods which you propose to sell. Evidence of ownership or the right to sell the items may be requested at any time.
Ownership of items transfers to us at the point of collection and payment.
Once payment has been made, the sale is final and irreversible.
4. Payment
Payment is made by bank transfer only.
You are responsible for providing accurate bank details.
Payment is made on the day of collection, following agreement of the final offer.
5. Collection
We arrange and carry out all collections. Collections may be performed by employees or agents of Rehomed and Reloved or couriers acting on our behalf.
We will pack and remove items as part of the service.
We cover all standard transport and handling costs.
You agree to:
-
Provide safe and reasonable access to the property
-
Ensure items are available and ready for collection as agreed
6. Abort Fees & Failed Collections
A £100 abort fee will apply where:
-
Collection cannot proceed due to lack of access
-
The customer cancels after agreeing a collection
-
The customer withdraws after agreeing a sale
-
The items materially differ from what was originally presented
This fee reflects time, travel and operational costs already incurred.
7. Right to Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse to proceed with a collection or purchase on site, at our discretion, for example where it would be unsafe to do so.
8. Authenticity
By proceeding with our service, you confirm that:
-
All items are genuine and not counterfeit
-
You have the legal right to sell the items
We reserve the right to decline any items where authenticity or the right to sell them is in doubt.
9. Liability
We take reasonable care during collection and transport.
However:
-
Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the agreed purchase price of the items
-
We are not responsible for items not included in the agreed sale
-
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
10. Use of Images & Information
By submitting photos and information to us, you grant us the right to:
